How does my new mattress arrive?
When it arrives at your door, your mattress is compressed in a plastic sleeve and rolled into a bag that is designed to be capable of handling by one person. We include unpacking instructions in the bag (hint: they’re very simple).

How long does it take to receive my mattress after I order it?
Typically, your TEMPUR-Cloud® will arrive in 5 to 7 days.

Do I pay for shipping?
Standard FedEx Ground shipping is free.

Can I have my order shipped faster? Or shipped for Saturday delivery?
We don’t currently offer faster shipping because these are stored in a warehouse close by. Shipped by FedEx.

Do I have to be at home for delivery?
For most orders, the carrier will leave the bag at your front door. If you have special delivery needs, call our Customer Care staff.

What if I need to change the delivery address after I placed my order?
Call us. In some cases, we can change your delivery address, depending on where the shipment is in the process. There may be a fee to make the change. It’s important to know that the carrier cannot change the shipping address unless our Customer Care staff requests it.

No, we do not ship outside Canada.

Where is my mattress shipped from?
Currently, all of our mattresses ship from our Mississauga warehouse in Ontario.

It’s cold where I live. Is there anything about the climate here that could affect my mattress?
If the product is being delivered to an area of the country with cold temperatures or during the colder months of the year, it’s important that you allow the mattress to warm up to room temperature before opening. And when opening, it could take much longer to unroll as it continues to warm to room temperature. Do not force it open. How quickly it warms to room temperature is dependent on temperature of the home and could take several hours (up to 24-48 hours) depending on how cold the outside temperatures are.

Can I clean the cover?
You can spot clean your mattress. The cover is not meant to be taken off or washed. If you are trying to remove a stain, dampen a cloth (do not saturate) with a mixture of water and delicate-friendly detergent. Gently scrub the spot and let air dry.

Does my mattress have a break-in period?
If you’re not happy with the feel of your new mattress, you have the option to exchange or return it. But we recommend sleeping on it for 30 nights—it can sometimes take a while to get used to a new mattress, especially if your old mattress was worn. But of course you can return it at any time during the first 90 nights.

What kind of sheets will fit my mattress?
You can use any sheet set designed to fit a 10” high mattress. For the bottom sheet, a fitted sheet with strong elastic works best.

Can I use a mattress protector with my mattress?
Yes, you can.

Can I use an electric blanket or heating pad with my mattress?
We recommend you do not use either electric blankets or heating pads with our mattresses. The TEMPUR® material responds to your body temperature, and the additional heat from electric blankets or heating pads causes the mattress to respond to that heat instead of conforming to your body. Longer periods of exposure to the heat from electric blankets or heating pads may damage the mattress.
Once you lie down, the mattress will quickly respond to your body heat and feel warmer. -
How much weight can it hold?
Your TEMPUR-Cloud® mattress can support up to 500 lbs.

Do you sell the bed furniture pictured on your site?
Sorry, no we don’t. Some of the photos and videos were taken in owner’s homes and some were shot on a professional set—but in either case, we don’t sell the furniture.

Can I use a slat, slatted foundation/platform bed with my Tempur-Cloud® mattress?
Tempur-Pedic® mattresses have been designed to be paired with a Tempur-Pedic® foundation. However, we understand that some consumers wish to use their slatted foundation or platform bed which may be permissible provided the slats and bed are structurally sound and as a general rule 3” wide and no more than 4” apart.

What’s in my mattress?
Your TEMPUR-Cloud® consists of three parts, a Comfort Layer on top of a Support Layer and the Base layer underneath that. Surrounding them both is our 360° Stretch Cover:
360° Stretch Cover: A premium breathable, moisture wicking cover designed to enhance air movement and deliver comfortable sleep.
TEMPUR® Comfort Layer: An all new TEMPUR® material formulation designed to be soft, responsive, and cushion every point of your body as you settle in.
TEMPUR® Support Layer: A firmer support layer of TEMPUR® material that you slowly ride into, adapting, conforming, and relieving pressure throughout the night.
Base Layer: A premium foam base layer providing all night support and durability.

Where is my mattress assembled?
We’re happy to report that your TEMPUR-Cloud® is both designed and assembled in the U.S.

Does it transfer movement from my sleep partner?
TEMPUR-Cloud® uses a layer of TEMPUR® material that helps reduce the amount of movement from your sleep partner.

Does the new mattress smell?
When your TEMPUR-Cloud® arrives, there may be a slight scent. Think of this like the scent in your new car or new furniture. It’s the result of the cells in the foam opening. The most important thing to know is that the scent will disappear within a day or two.

Can I return my mattress?

We ask you to try it for 30 nights, and if (during the first 90 nights) you don’t love your new mattress, call us. We will work with you to address your concerns. If we can’t find a way to make you happy, we will take the mattress back, and refund your money, less shipping charges. After your first 90 nights, you can sleep soundly knowing you’re protected from product defects by our 10-Year Limited Warranty on mattresses.

Can I exchange my mattress for a different feel?
The TEMPUR-Cloud® comes in one feel currently. If the mattress is too firm, it should naturally soften with time. We recommend at least 30 days of use to get your body used to the feel of the mattress.

How do I return my mattress?
If you’re unhappy with your TEMPUR-Cloud®, call us. We’ll work with you to return your mattress. Depending on where you live, some of the options for “return” might include us sending one of our carriers to pick up the mattress, or potentially recycling or disposing of the mattress. In any case, once you confirm the return, we’ll issue a refund within 1 to 2 business days.

Are there any fees with returning my mattress?
We ask you to try it for 30 nights, and if (during the first 90 nights) you don’t love your new mattress, call. We will work with you to address your concerns. If we can’t find a way to make you happy, we will provide you with instructions for returning the mattress and refund your money. If you took advantage of free shipping, a return shipping fee of $175 may apply.

How long does it take to receive my refund?
Once we confirm the return, we’ll issue a refund within 1 to 2 business days.

Do I have to ship it back in its original bag if I decide to return it?
No. We wouldn’t ask you to do that (and that would be impossible!). We’ll discuss how to get it ready when you call to talk about a return.

How long is the warranty on my mattress?
Your TEMPUR-Cloud® mattress includes a 10 year full-replacement limited warranty.

Does the warranty cover defective mattresses?
Yes, it does.

What if the mattress starts showing dips and body impressions?
First, rest assured that it’s unlikely to happen—we’ve tested this bed extensively, and it’s proven that it can hold up for years of use. However, if it does happen, any indentations 0.75” or deeper are covered by the 10-Year Limited Warranty.

What is the proper foundation support for my mattress?
Our foundations look similar to a standard box spring. But instead of the “give“ of a box spring, our foundations provide a solid base for our mattresses. Because they’re completely flat, they allow the mattress to provide the support your body needs; because they’re solidly built, they’ll support the mattress without sagging and last for the life of the mattress. We encourage you to buy a foundation when you buy your mattress; it provides the solid base your mattress requires to do its job properly. If you do not have Tempur-Pedic foundation, you must position the mattress on a completely flat, solid surface with adequate center support. Do not use the mattress with a conventional box spring. Please note that using the mattress without a Tempur-Pedic foundation or similar firm, solid-surface, non-spring base may void the warranty.

Can I place a piece of particleboard or plywood over a box spring to create a flat surface for my mattress?
No. A box spring is designed to support a traditional spring mattress, and it “gives“. Placing a piece of particleboard or plywood over a box spring will produce a surface that is unstable and will void your warranty.

Has TEMPUR-Cloud® been product tested?
Before we started to sell TEMPUR-Cloud®, we tested it using a full set of industry-standard tests, including VOC, ARA and Fire-Retardant testing. But because we’ve been building mattresses for over 25 years, we add a few that go above and beyond the average to test foam and mattress durability. Rest assured: your mattress has passed a battery of extremely tough tests!

How do I know if TEMPUR-Cloud® is the right mattress for me?

Is TEMPUR-Cloud® available in retail stores?

What is the difference between TEMPUR-Cloud® and other Cloud mattresses?
The TEMPUR-Cloud® is a new bed in a bag compressed mattress. This mattress is made with original TEMPUR® material with a medium feel.
Our previous Cloud mattress options were made with a much softer-feeling material and were not able to be compressed.

How do I set up my new bed?
Set-up is simple: open the package, pull out the mattress, place it on the bed/foundation and unwrap it. Be sure to consult the instructions included in the bag!

How long until the bed is ready to use?
Once unboxed, your TEMPUR-Cloud® mattress should be mostly decompressed within ten minutes and ready to use within an hour. We would advise it may take up to 72 hours to fully expand and meet the description dimensions. This may take longer if the mattress is cold or in colder areas.

When will my credit card be charged?
